Want to be a feature writer for 5027mac?
Are you a student at Drexel University looking for a place to publish your nonfiction? We are always looking for interesting stories from student perspectives. Email your piece to us at email@example.com. Make the subject line “Submission for Features Section” and include your submission as a plain text article in the body of the email. We will review submissions weekly, and if the piece meets our publishing needs at the time, we will work with you to edit and revise the composition so that it can be a part of our features section. If a piece doesn’t meet our needs, we will return the submission with a brief rejection note within 7-14 days. For a taste of what we’re looking for, please browse our Features.
Are you a teacher using 5027mac in your course?
If any of your current or recent students have submitted excellent non-fiction writing for your courses, please strongly encourage those students to email us their work at firstname.lastname@example.org for possible publication in our features section. Make sure the student includes your name and “Submission for Features Section” in the subject line of the email. If we feel the piece meets our publishing needs at the time, we will notify the student, and work with the student so the piece can be a part of our features section. If a piece doesn’t meet our needs, we will politely return the submission with a brief explanation. At this time we are looking for pieces that have more of a journalistic feel; please browse our Features section for examples.
